Thoughtplanters – Horticulture and arboriculture specialists in Australia

In the beginning, Thoughtplanters was called Horttraining. The idea for Horttraining took shape among five arborists discussing the lack of relevant horticulture and arboriculture training in New Zealand. During a brainstorming session, they worked out a plan to close the gap and start a business offering training to the next wave of horticulturalists in New Zealand.

And that was the start of Horttraining. It didn't take long until they began searching for skilled and passionate trainers for their core team. The company was up and rolling, providing quality horticulture training across New Zealand.

The success of the business went beyond their expectations. They continued to grow steadily, and within a few years, they had several training programs across different industry sectors. Their initial business idea worked so well that calls started coming in from overseas, and the business expanded internationally.

But the needs of the national and international market grew, and it was hard for the business to keep up. So in 2010, Thoughtplanters took over. With the same passion for the industry and learning culture, we've continued on the same road as Horttraining. Our goal is to plant thoughts and grow better thinkers.
